ACC will design, construct and pay for the PV system on Nestle’s factory in Ji County, Tianjin. ACC will also maintain the system, while Nestle has agreed to off-take the power from the system in order to make savings on electricity bills over the lifetime of the system.

An ACC spokeswoman told PV Tech that there are proposals for a total of 32 rooftop systems across Nestle’s factories in China.

In November Hanwha Q CELLS and ACC agreed to partner on 200MW of solar PV projects in China.
